Black bears are the most common bear species in North America, so I’m curious as to whether or not your state has a black bear season or not. List your state and confirm whether or not you have a season or not.

West Virginia –
My home state of West Virginia is loaded with bears and I’ve killed a few through the years. They’re delicious if processed correctly. I’d rather eat a bear burger than a deer burger any day.
Ohio –
Ohio does not have a black bear season but it does have a few black bears. They’re not very common but I seen one that had been hit by a car on Rt 7 one morning on the way to work.
